Hello hello beautiful souls, are you having a good day?

Are you lit up today?

Remember to stay lit because this world needs more alive people.

I’m still lit up from attending Gabby Berstein’s live event in Beverly hills los angeles 2 nights ago. The event was called manifest your wildest dreams, many people asked questions around living in your life purpose and she shifted the focus to finding your purpose to becoming who you are. Focus on how you are feeling, who you can serve and who you want to be instead of being in your head about what you need to do. I actually really went into the event with no agenda, I feel like right now I’m in my perfect comfort zone, already living my dream life by my own design, I set my own schedules, work minimal and prioritize fun. I just love and want to be in the same room as other like minded women who invest in growing their minds and take personal development seriously like I do. So today I wanted to talk about being in the comfort zone.

We hear this phrase way too often: “get out of your comfort zone” or “everything you ever wanted is outside of your comfort zone”

So in my opinion the wording should be changed a lil bit, because there is a huge difference between being in your comfort zone and a defeat zone.

The difference between staying in your comfort zone and defeat zone is in your mindset and how you respond to challenges.

Being in your comfort zone usually means being in a familiar, safe state that is comfortable and minimizes stress. I actually love being in my comfort zone, there are just times like now where I’m perfectly content with where my life is and where it’s headed and I trust that I’m on the exact path I need to be. This becomes a very positive space for personal growth and relaxation and actually living my life.

However, when other gurus tell you to get out of your comfort zone means that if you are staying only within your comfort zone, it can stop your growth and limit your potential.

On the other hand, feelings of defeat suggests that you have faced difficulties and setbacks and have become overwhelmed and given up. So in my opinion I think sometimes if everything is running as you planned, it’s ok to stay in your comfort zone, but it’s not ok to stay in your defeat zone.

This is why I felt it was important to put this episode out into the world so that you are aware there is a difference in the way you can think about and respond to challenges.

Comfort can promote defeat or growth, the choice is yours.

So be more aware of your mindset and reflect on your circumstances.

Are you really happy with being comfortable in life right now?

Because you are truly content and going exactly as planned?

Or are you only being comfortable because you are afraid to change, afraid to show up in a different way or you don’t believe your dreams can come true?

Be honest with yourself.

Take some time to reflect or journal these questions, then you will be able to see if you are in your comfort zone or defeat zone.

Feel free to message me privately and let me know if you have any new insights after listening to this episode.

Till next time, cheers to living your epic life.
